Program Description

Poland Teach Voyage

  • There are usually around 5-15 students per class
  • Around 15-25 teaching hours per week
  • 2 days off per week, but may not necessarily be consecutive
  • There is a possibility that you might be the only foreign teacher at your school.
  • Schools provide an English teaching curriculum for teachers to follow.
  • Keep in mind that most schools pay hourly, and thus you’re only paid for the hours you teach, so remember to factor in days off when planning your budget.

What to Expect

• Lifetime placement

• 120 – hour internationally recognized and accredited TEFL certificate upon completion

• Earn a monthly salary of €1000 - €2200 per month

• Culture immersion and introduction of one week with our partnering agency

• Weekend orientation for those who are unable to join the cultural immersion and orientation in the week at no extra costs

• Free dormitory accommodation for 2 nights at the weekend orientation

• Free return trip (bus or train) from placement location to Krakow, where the weekend orientation is.

• Cultural immersion orientation provided by the school if the teacher is unable to attend both of the abovementioned options at no extra costs.

• We’ll provide guidance on obtaining a sim card upon your arrival

• Travel assistance with bookings of flights

• Accommodation assistance

• Ex-foreign teachers and local, on-the-ground support staff will provide you with personal assistance throughout the duration of your teaching experience.

• Comprehensive job placement assistance and CV adjustment for the Polish market

• Airport pickup and transfer to accommodation (provided you opt to stay in one of the recommended accommodation options).

• In depth interview preparation

• Interview demo and lesson plan assistance

• Placement with screened schools

• Support and guidance with the visa process

• Support and guidance prior to your departure

• In country support from experienced staff

• Contract negotiation between the employer and employee

• On-going support once you are placed

What To Expect
Requirements

Requirements

★ Have a 3+year University Degree in any field.

★Previous teaching experience is required for non-degree holders.

★ Must have a certificate of minimum 120 hours in class OR online TEFL/TESOL/CELTA (You can obtain this through our partnering agency and is included in the program)

★ Citizens from South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland, USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland are accepted into the program.

★ Citizens from countries other than those mentioned may apply, however their applications are subject to pre-approval.

★ Have an excellent grasp of the English language.

★ Have a clear and easy to understand English accent.

★ Good physical and mental health, candidates with depression, HIV and epilepsy will not be considered.

★ Be between the ages of 20 - 55 (older candidates will be considered upon pre-approval).

★ Have a clean criminal record with no previous convictions.

★ Willing to commit for a minimum of 12 months.

★ Candidates who are TESOL certified upon enquiry will be accepted upon pre-approval (IF the TESOL is internationally accredited) subject to the Placement Only program
