What to Expect
What you revceive:
Pocket money of at least €90 per week, or €100 if you are a driver.
Assistance with the visa and work permit application.
Host Families are agency-verified who will meet French au pair regulations.
Furnished bedroom in the host family's home.
Placements are conveniently situated near French schools and the city for a social life. Most placements are in cities such as Lyon, Bordeaux, Marseille, Nice and Bordeaux.
Access to WIFI.
Support from World Voyage throughout the application process and Au Pair year.
Support from our French agency throughout the course of the Au Pair year.
At least 2 days off per week.
For 12 month placements, host families offer to pay a portion of the language course fees.
FREE accommodation and meals with the family for the entire year's stay.
Public transportation will be provided for your mobility. If you need to drive for the kids, the family will assist with the cost of fuel, but you will be responsible for your long-distance trips.
For stays exceeding 3 months, you will be enrolled in the French social security system. This will cover a part of your healthcare expenses while you're in France.
Private medical insurance: In addition, you will be covered by au pair tailored insurance during your entire stay.
Administrative guidance: We’ll guide you through the renewal process for residence permits.
