Hi, I’m Roelien Visagie, although most people know me as Lien. Some say it’s because “Roelien” has too many letters, others say it’s because life is simply too short for formalities!

Originally from the beautiful town of Potchefstroom, I made what can only be described as one of the best decisions of my life when my family and I packed up and moved to the coastal paradise of Hartenbos a year ago. Between the ocean views, incredible community, and relaxed lifestyle, it quickly became home.

I’m a proud mom to two amazing children and have been happily married to my husband for seven wonderful years (and counting!). Family has always been at the heart of everything I do, and it’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about helping others create life-changing experiences and memories of their own.

After finishing high school, my family and I embarked on our own international adventure and moved to Australia, where I began my studies in Criminology. During those four years, I had the opportunity to travel to some truly incredible countries, immerse myself in different cultures, meet people from all walks of life, and experience the world in a way that completely changed my perspective.

I’ll never forget the feeling of stepping into a new country for the first time — the excitement, the wonder, the nerves, and the realization of just how big and beautiful our world really is. Those experiences sparked a lifelong love for travel and cultural exchange.

Today, through World Voyage, I have the privilege of helping others embark on their own international journeys. Whether it’s working abroad, exploring new destinations, meeting lifelong friends from around the globe, or simply discovering what they’re capable of outside their comfort zone, I love being part of that first step.

Because sometimes the best thing you can do is book the ticket, take the chance, and let the adventure change your life.

Hi, I'm Sonyah Hart, a retired teacher, lifelong learner, proud wife, and passionate traveller who believes that some of life's greatest lessons happen outside the classroom.

For many years, I had the privilege of working with Special Needs Learners, a career that taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of celebrating every achievement, no matter how small. Although I've retired from teaching, my love for learning, exploring, and connecting with people continues to grow.

I have been happily married to my husband, Matthys, a Financial Advisor, and together we have shared many wonderful adventures over the years. Home is Johannesburg, but my heart has always been drawn to discovering new places, cultures, and experiences.

Travel has given me the opportunity to visit destinations across Southern Africa and the United States, from the wide-open landscapes of Namibia and Botswana to the vibrant cities and southern charm of America. Every journey has left me with treasured memories, new friendships, and a deeper appreciation for the beauty and diversity of our world.

For me, travel is about so much more than visiting a destination. It's about stepping beyond your comfort zone, embracing new experiences, and collecting moments that stay with you forever. Whether it's watching a sunset in a foreign country, sharing stories with people from different backgrounds, or simply seeing the world through fresh eyes, every journey has something special to offer.

I believe adventure has no age limit, and some of the most rewarding experiences happen when you say "yes" to something new. The world is full of incredible places waiting to be explored, and I look forward to many more adventures still to come.
