Cambodia Teach Voyage
• Candidates are mostly placed in public schools are where students go for their day-to-day schooling. The typical work day may vary from school to school.
• School teaching is Monday to Friday during the day from around 08:00 – 11:00 and then from 14:00 – 16:00
• Public schools tend to have larger class sizes and teachers have more responsibility in preparing and creating lesson plans and materials but teachers are able to reach a wider demographic of students. • School key points include:
• Working hours are typically in mornings and afternoons, from Monday to Friday
• There are usually around 20-30 students per class at the public schools • More lesson planning is required
• Around 25 teaching hours per week and 15 hours a week for administrative tasks such as lesson planning
• There is a possibility that you might be the only foreign teacher at your school

Requirements
• Non degree holders are accepted
• Be a South African, Botswana or Namibian citizen
• Have an excellent grasp of the English language
• Have a clear and easy to understand English accent
• Good physical and mental health, candidates with depression, HIV and epilepsy will not be considered
• Be between the ages of 20 - 55 (older candidates will be considered upon pre-approval)
• Have a clean criminal record with no previous convictions
• Willing to commit for a minimum of 4 months
• Must have a certificate of minimum 120 hours in class OR online TEFL/TESOL/CELTA (you can obtain this through our partnering agency and is included in Option 1)
• Candidates who are TESOL certified upon enquiry will be accepted upon pre-approval IF the TESOL is internationally accredited and will be subject to the TEFL extension program (Option 2).
