Hi, I am Marelie!

I finished my BSc Physiology and Psychology degree in 2022. Many years of trial and error taught me that one should always keep your head up, and continue to work hard towards your dreams, no matter the obstacles in your way. 

I love working for World Voyage and seeing girls experiencing the cultural exchange and growing into who they always dreamt of being. 

My dream travel destination is Switzerland, seeing the snow and drinking all the hot chocolate you can think of ! 

When living abroad, you experience so much more than you do when you are a tourist. Immersing yourself in a new culture, trying new foods and learning a new language is something you will remember for the rest of your life ! I taught English in Thailand and still cherish the memories and experiences I encountered there. Once the travel bug bites (and trust me, it will), we are always here to help.
